CATALOGUES
1. If you are on Goffs Bloodstock Sales mailing list, you will automatically receive a copy of the relevant catalogue after the catalogue has been published. If you are not on the Goffs Mailing List, you can purchase a copy of the relevant catalogue by filling out our on-line catalogue form.

2. To view our on-line catalogue, all you need is your normal Internet Browser for viewing database details, and then Adobe Acrobat Reader if you wish to view pedigrees.


3. You can download the relevant catalogue, by either downloading the PDF file ('Download Catalogue' on Sales & Results page) which contains all the pedigree information, or by downloading the Excel file ('Download Excel File' on Sales & Results page) which is a complete list of all entrants in the relevant sale.

RESULTS

1. The results may not appear on the web in real time (the moment the lot was sold/not sold) due to the neccessity for the Accounts Department to clear the transaction. When the transaction is cleared, then the lot goes for inclusion in web results.

2. The Official results from Goffs Bloodstock Sales are those issued by fax from the Sales Office.

3. Results can be download from the Goffs website on the Results page (Excel file).

4. All Goffs Catalogues, Results, Sales Dates, News & Contacts are available on your WAP enabled mobile. The format is a cut-down version of the Goffs website. As results are updated to the website, so too are they updated to your mobile phone. Go Live on your phone, and type in www.goffs.mobi.

5. As the sale progresses, statisitcs are automatically updated on the website. Be aware, that - like the results themselves - statistics are only updated as lots - approved by Accounts - are accredited to the website results.
At the end of the sale, the Official statistics are those issued by the Sales Office of Goffs Bloodstock Sales.

SEARCHING GOFFS WEBSITE
1. You can search the whole Goffs Bloodstock Sales website, whether it be sales, results, contacts, news, etc.

2. Type in the keyword you would like to search by. Example: Type in 'John'. When you type in 'John' you will pull back any reference to the keyword 'John' on the Goffs website, including any reference in News, Lots, Staff & Black Type Winners. (Do note, that if you type in a generic keyword like 'Orby', you will pull back every reference to Orby, ie, ALL lots)

3. If you have tried looking for a named horse/sire/dam/vendor etc with an apostrophe in the name.... try removing the apostrophe and leaving a space instead.. Example, Shelia's Folly.... Shelia s Folly...

VIDEO BROADCAST FROM GOFFS
1. The Video/Audio broadcast from Goffs Bloodstock Sale begins approximately twenty minutes before the start of the sale, and finishes at the end of the sale.

2. The Video/Audio broadcast is in the Windows Media Player format, therefore, Windows Media Player software is required on your computer before you can view to the sale on-line. All new computers come with Media Player installed. If your computer does not have Windows Media Player installed, it is easily available. Also, we recommend that you upgrade to the latest version of Media Player at the Microsoft website. This software is available, free of charge, at the Microsoft website.

3. You will need a minimum of a 56k connection to view the broadcast from Goffs. Your connection to the video server will automatically configure for the best connection speed. Whether you connect by broadband, ISDN or modem, you will obtain the maximun permissible speed relevant to you.

4. If you have an issue with the Video Broadcast during the Sales, please contact Goffs and ask for the Sound Engineer, Joe Whitaker.

PHOTOGRAPHS
1. (a) In general, the photographs on the website are taken by Graphic Workshop (Goffs Extension 247), who take photographs during the sale day, and upload them to the website that afternoon or evening.
(b) On occasions, dictated by Goffs, vendors may submit photographs for inclusion with the online catalogue.
(c) During Sales Days, Race Photographers such as Peter Mooney and Caroline Norris attend the Sales, and are available to take photographs. Both can be contacted via Goffs Reception (045 886600).
